A little about me.

Its been a long time coming. I have been putting it off, as well as a tonne of other things. But, finally, I have been able to motivate myself to create this blog! I hope to share some of my journey with you, some behind the scenes of Silver Lining as well as introduce my two little monsters aka Rayyan and Aroosh. You can also give them a follow on their Insta page Ray&Oosh. 

So, a little about me. My name is Atiya. I’m a single mother to two young boys who are my love and joy. I run a small business called Silver Lining where I sell  Islam inspired stationery, decorations and home décor. I graduated with a BSc Hons in Environmental Science and a Diploma is Professional Research & Studies. Unfortunately, I never pursued a career in my degree subject but would love to introduce more sustainability practices and eco measures into my business, Insha'Allah.

I run a small business called Silver Lining where I sell  Islam inspired stationery, decorations and home décor. 

Silver Lining is something that happened when I was trying to understand myself and what I was supposed to do after deciding to separate from my children’s father. I didn’t know if what I was doing was right. I was concerned of what my Islamic rights were and whether there was any advice to guide me to make the right decision.

During this time I came upon so many people who had gone thorough similar journeys and testing times. I found solace and comfort in their stories and understanding how they got through their hardships.
